Eagle-eyed Sandy detects a disturbing pattern of skiers descending intermediate-level slopes with poor form—knees knocked, inefficiently transferring weight, poles flailing—and decides to delve deeper. Stopping and quizzing the amateur skiers didn’t help, but their evasiveness and reluctance to give details betray dodgy goings-on. Sandy reports back to Lt. Powers, who dispatches a crack team. In short order they come across the source of the bum tuition: fake instructors taking good money from naïve tourists for bad advice. Sandy devises a cunning trap, but will Ski Patrol be able to catch the villains before more damage is done?
